"Art is indebted to total skepticism"
wrote Hugo Ball in 1916, as he began a small cabaret in Zurich known as Cabaret Voltaire.

The cabaret gave birth to the Dada art movement, which influenced the course of art in the 20th century.  88 years later, actor-writer-producer Christian Jon Meoli continues the tradition of the Zurich Dadaists with a Los Angeles Voltaire as a monthly event in residence at the Steve Allen Theater.

Each edition of Cabaret Voltaire features a mixed bill of a variety of performers.  With a devious presenting style and low-tech vibe, Cabaret Voltaire brings exploratory and innovative works to the stage and screen.
