In Front of the Camera...

Before each person begins to read, have them say (in English)

  • Their Name
  • Title or position
  • Location (Landmark, City, Country)
  • (e.g., John Smith, student, Statue of Liberty, New York, United States)

You may read the text in your own language

Read as much as you can, but you don't have to read the whole selection

Read at a natural pace – not too fast or too slowly

Speak loudly and clearly

Look at the camera as much as possible

Try to remain still

Don’t worry about re-shooting mistakes - we’ll only use short pieces from each reader

Wear solid colors – no patterns or tight stripes

  • Try to avoid wearing black or white clothing

Have fun!
